Some include a fuller form of Mordecai\u2019s prayer, where he calls upon the Lord as the God of Abraham and the patriarchs.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Bellota\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Bellota\">Modern translations such as the NEB follow these fuller Greek witnesses.The KJV translators (1611) used a more limited Greek tradition that omits this covenant formula.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Bellota\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Bellota\">Because the NEB is copyrighted, its exact wording cannot be reproduced here.
